Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Show Up Method mobile application, website and related coaching services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to use the service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account.

Client registrations may require coach approval. We may approve, reject, suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to operate the service, enforce these Terms, meet legal requirements or protect users. Pending and rejected users may still delete their account.

3. Coaching service

Show Up Method provides tools for goal creation and tracking, check-ins, progress, communication with a coach, scheduling one-to-one coaching sessions, reminders, motivational messages and eligible session payments. The exact scope, schedule, price and deliverables for a coaching engagement may also be agreed directly between coach and client.

4. Not medical or emergency services

The service is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If you are experiencing an emergency or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services immediately.

5. AI-generated content

If you separately enable AI motivational messages, Anthropic processes limited goal and progress information to generate those messages. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances. It is provided for general motivational purposes and is not professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions and actions based on it. You can disable the feature at any time.

6. Payments, cancellations and refunds

Payments for eligible one-to-one coaching sessions may be processed through Razorpay and are also subject to Razorpay’s applicable terms. The app shows the relevant amount and currency before payment.

Payments are generally non-refundable. Nothing in this policy limits any refund or consumer right required under applicable law. A session may be rescheduled or cancelled by contacting the coach at least 24 hours before its scheduled start. Late cancellations and missed sessions are not eligible for a refund.

7. Third-party meeting and platform services

Sessions may use an independent meeting provider such as Google Meet. Use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for an independent provider’s availability or operation.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm, threaten or harass anyone;
• impersonate another person or provide materially false account information;
• upload malicious code, probe security or attempt unauthorised access;
• interfere with the service or manipulate payment, session or progress records;
• submit content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights; or
• reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Show Up Method a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, transmit and display that content only as necessary to provide, secure and operate the service and comply with law. You confirm that you have the right to submit the content.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain and delete personal data, including optional processing by Anthropic.

11. Account deletion and termination

You may permanently delete your account inside the app through Menu → Delete Account. Pending or rejected users may delete their account from the approval screen. Deletion cannot be undone. Limited records may be retained where required by law or as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk or legal requirement.

12. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service and will provide notice where required by law. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Show Up Method will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud or wilful misconduct.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in New Delhi, Delhi will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-protection law and rights that cannot legally be restricted.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice or request renewed agreement where required.
